Received a very nice letter of apology on behalf of Terry Leahy.
Six weeks on following the letter, the store, Wood Green Express is still a tip, blood on the shelf, rubbish on the floor.

Tesco Wood Green eh? Nothing would surprise me about that place. I used to shop there often when it first opened but not any more. The store is filthy (I am not the only person to have seen rats scurrying about the bread section), the (almost exclusively male) staff are incompetent fools and as for the 'Manager' - you could not meet a more unpleasant, sexist, self-satisfied little bully. Why do Tesco's continue to let this appalling bunch of clowns work for the company?!
I think that store is a bit suspect and the staff should not be trusted. I attempted to use my 'Switch' card some time ago now and it kept failing. The assistant told me the machine had showed that my card had been copied so was being rejected and I should contact my bank incase of fraud. I had to demand to speak to the manager, who was no help
My bank said it was complete rubbish.
WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT ABOUT?! Needless to say I haven't been in there since.
Nothing surprises me at all with Tesco's and believe me -- I have been hurt & destroyed because of Tesco's -- all because of a store manager I used to work for -- a few years ago later the store closed down more than 8 years ago -- what a shock to learn what he had done to me -- biggest shock of my life and to put up with what I have to faced with ever since the store closed down --- a horrible,unpleasant and ungrateful store manager I have ever met,come across and worked for --- you put your heart and loyalties in your work and he does this to me -- this store manager is unbelievable considering all the work I done for him.
