It's all very well Tesco making these collossal profits, but put your house in order and give your customers good quality merchandise. Not for the first time, I have found fresh produce, fruit and vegetables, to be of poor quality. I have had problems in the past with freshness, in particular sliced beans which never make their sell-by date as they turn mouldy if left to the date. Also the case with strawberries. I purchased both these items on Friday, both with sell-by dates of the 15th April. I went to use the beans today, which were in my fridge, and had to throw the lot away. Inside the sealed pack they were wet and grey. Four of the strawberries had green mould underneath them.
I bought some fresh cod loin three weeks ago, put it straight into the freezer, took it out of the freezer yesterday morning to cook for dinner but the fish smelled "fishy". I know that fresh fish should NOT smell. However, I cooked it and my husband refused to eat the fish because it tasted "off". Another waste of money.
Over the years so much has been discarded and so much money wasted. I always vow I will never shop in Tesco again, but I get "sucked in" because I have a huge store (Lakeside) near where I live and its an interesting place to shop. I may shop there again, but I will NEVER BUY FRESH PRODUCE.
I think you need to take a look at your fridge....
ReplyDeleteIf you have bought anything from Tesco that you were not happy with and did not receive the customer service support that you expected then please carry on reading.
ReplyDeleteI have come across lots of people who have bought items from Tesco and they have broken down and they have not received the support from Tesco to help them rectify the matter. I myself have had a problem with Tesco where an Item has broken down, a wall mounted TV and have been for the past couple of years trying to get it sorted with so many different promises to get the tv replaced, repaired with none of them every happening.
Tesco feel that they are a large company who do not have to worry about customer feedback or about upsetting customers as there are always other people who would go and buy there products so the people who are not happy and there are thousands of them each year, it does not matter to them as they are the biggest supermarket in the UK with the highest turnover.
The customer support I and so many other people have received has been very disgusting. What I am asking people on this forum to do is, to tell their friends about this posting and if you have had a product that you have bought from Tesco or if you have had a service from Tesco or are simply not happy about the way you have been treated by Tesco then please join others like yourself who are making their feelings known by contacting the Chief Executive office on 01707 395150 and ask for Helen and make yourself known to them about your complaint.
We will also be arranging in the new future demonstrations around the UK about the way Tesco treat customers.
Join everyone now who is not happy with Tesco and phone the Cheif Executive office and make yourself be heard and do not let this big company get away with treating their customers in this way.

ReplyDeleteSuch a nice blog. I hope you will create another post like this.
ReplyDeletea lot of so called fresh foods from tesco come in frozen from the continent. They also say grown in britain they are not. More like holland and shipped over frozen. Tesco don't care as long as they are getting there money they treat the british as thick individuals. They also employ forigners because they dont complain when they are forced to do a job that is dangerous.
ReplyDeleteIf you're going to make stuff up at least make it believable.
ReplyDeleteI have posted to one complaint already, but,i see that its the very same THURROCK LAKESIDE TESCO,where customer service is appaling. Not to mention, the state of the mens toilets(that surpass the word "cess hole" or something similar. They are regularly blocked and strewn with tiolet roll, both used and unused. Want a pic? im sure i can get one, very soon,as this is all too regular.
ReplyDeleteRichard William Evans ... Absolutely unbelievable what he is like.
ReplyDeleteRichard William Evans .... More trouble than he is worth.
ReplyDeletedeveloped fish food poisoning after purchasing 'fresh fish'.
ReplyDeleteSix weeks later purchased reduced fish clearly marked to use by the next day. Not waiting I opened the plastic bag and if the whole plaice had a head it would have singing.
The joke going around Litherland is the fishmonger has shares in the local undertaker, alternatively if you are still a walking wounded you don't have to wait in the local hospital's A & E you get priority service!
