Tesco not kosher...

Today my wife was humiliated at Tesco Hurst Park West Molesey Surrey.

Due to staff neclect the security tag was not removed from a£3.96 hand mixer. She was detained at the door when the alarm sounded.

We are well known in the area and people who know her are witness to this. It was very embarrising for my wife.

We were not offered any compensation for there mistake.

We have had on two occassions fish and chicken that was off and if eaten would have cauesed harm.

The nice Jewish couple who started Tesco would not have approved. Sorry Tessi Cohen.

  1. Again more examples of Tesco acting like a big corporate bully. How dare they make this poor couple feel criminalised like this.
I believe an award of no less than £50 compensation for the humiliation is a neccessity, and a statement to the local press, confirming that the couple are innocent people would also be advisable.

These people think they are living in their very own squeeky clean world!
If only they knew the truth!

  4. Shezian Morris get a life!

All you want is attention and try to milk everything as much as possible to help you feel like you've been a victim.

Normal people wouldn't care and wouldn't moan about something so trivial.

    ReplyDelete
  5. Maybe if it happens to you, then you will understand. I have had to talk my wife back from the brink of suicide, and reassure myself that everything will be ok and that local people don't really suspect us of shoplifting.
Life has become much harder since this happened. I often feel like a prisoner in my own home.
I do agree that we should be offered some compensation.

    ReplyDelete
  6. Erm it has happend to me! I thought nothing of it.

You just want to milk this as much as possible don't you. It's all about attention.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Hold on, she was at the brink of suicide over a security label not being removed?

Bollocks, or she needs serious help. You can't blame the rest of the world because your wife can't handle life. How the hell does she cope when something serious happens if she can't deal with that?

If people who know you saw it they would have thought "oh, someone forgot to remove the tag"

Your they type who is obviously to bone idol to ask and would much rather have it in your head they thought you were actually stealing just so you can feel sorry for yourself.

Whats this with the nice jewish couple? did you personally know them?

The both of you really need to sort yourselves out.

  8. "We were not offered any compensation for there mistake."

    WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    You want compensation for that!

    Money grabbing.

  9. "The nice Jewish couple who started Tesco would not have approved."

They wouldn't have approved security in their stores, u sure?

  10. Peter, I've never read so much rubbish in my life as your post.

Those alarms go off by mistake all the time. No one feels a crinimal when it happens apart from desperate people who like attention.

How on earth it's being a corporate bully I have no idea. Are you an the op both members of some over reacting club or something?

With these things going off in many shops a day shall we just have a serperate newspaper for that then?

Do you really think people would read that and think it's news worthy? No! Look at the comments here, thats what the public think.

  11. Who are all of you to comment on my wifes mental stability? This was a serious incident which has left us feeling vunerable.
Imagine you filled up at a petrol station, and the cashier misheard your pump number, and you unwittingly paid for somebody else's fuel, then the police come knocking at your door later because your fuel wasn't paid for. Would you accept that as a simple security lapse? Its the same sort of thing!
I cant believe how people have responded on this site; I was hoping for support and guidance, not abuse and mocking.
    Shame on (most of) you.

    ReplyDelete
  12. No, shame on you for being so petty!

Your example is not the same at all. How many times have police been called to supermarkets for security tags not taken of products.............None!!!!!!!!!!

  13. "Who are all of you to comment on my wifes mental stability?"

    Well you wrote this!!!

"I have had to talk my wife back from the brink of suicide"

    Therefore mentaly unstable.

Especially as you indicate it's down to a security tag not being removed at Tescos! LOL

  20. Again, another ridiculous post from this blogger. Why should you be embarrassed, just about everybody who sets off the alarm does it like this, it's a common occurrence in just about every shop.

"We have had on two occassions fish and chicken that was off and if eaten would have cauesed harm."

Well if you bought it out of date, you should return it with your receipt for a full refund. Maybe the funds could go towards a dictionary...

  21. I am more and more angry by this pathetic attention seeking this "complaint" was. Think for one second that the member of staff was new to the job, think that you need to get a life and find out what true humiliation is, humiliation is customers like you shouting at staff because you dont get things handed to you on a plate, humiliation is the violence many members of staff in our stores face everyday, HUMILIATION is how you should feel every time you walk in to that store looking for your next "complaint".
I want you to also bear in mind, and swearing, derogatory term or raised voice is seen in the eyes of the law as breach of the peace and punishable by the police.

    ReplyDelete
  22. This has GOT to be made up...

    ReplyDelete
  23. Sadly I don't think it is made up as the person seems to have commented above.

I'm also amazed that "Shezian" whilst reading the comments here hasn't picked up that the complaint is completely unreasonable.

The £50 for compensation I think is either the blog owner or someone taking the piss as it's put on every comment, always £50, previoulsy going by the name of Netto Nutter.

It would be nice if Shezian had noticed this and that it is not a genuine comment.

    ReplyDelete
  24. No, It's the blog owner, it was posted straight after the blog insert. So not a "non biased" opinion.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Hmm, posted 2 mintues after that comment. Who other than the owner would possibly keeping track so much?

  27. Serious incident my arse! Please do us all a favour and get a life! Have you any idea how many security tags are used in a store? Anyone with half a brain will realise that at times tags will get left on in error. So get a grip, stop going on about compo and show some respect for the poor staff who have to put up with verbal abuse from the likes of you day in, day out.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Compensation?! You need to learn to suck it up when minor stuff happens to you, otherwise you'll find you can't shop anywhere!

    ReplyDelete
  29. are u having a laugh????

compensation! i wouldn't even give u a penny. probably would give u some of that lovely chicken u describe!!

    ReplyDelete
  30. So you were "detained" at the door.

    Big deal.

Had you not been stopped at the door and been asked to produce a receipt, you would have gone home, found the tag, had to go back to the store to get it removed. Then you'd have asked for compensation for the petrol money/bus fare/rubber on the soles of your shoes wasted.

    Grow up.

    Security Guard, Tesco.

  31. i think that tesco are a discrace

    ReplyDelete
  32. oh come on you where stopped oh no what a shame and you wanted compensation for standing for couple of seconds anyway i like your spirt to try and oooz as much money you can out of tesco!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    good on you!

    ReplyDelete
  33. I work for tesco and am continually appauled by their treatment to public and staff. Not only do i see countless illegal actions involving stratford upon avons meat counter but my manager takes her frustrations out on staff. Today i was called into the office for calling a new member of staff a "newbie" this "newbie" then admitted i had not said it as an insulting or in an insulting manner. I was then attacked for not putting stock out when i had just started my shift 10 mins ago and also had not been in the shop for 3 days.. simply impossible that it was me.

The continual joke that is Tesco staff training and managers who have severe mental problems has to end.

    ReplyDelete
  34. then leave your crazy wife at home!
i work in tesco and it's hard enough doing our job with out dick's like you! you want comp money because they stopped you to take it off! come on!! if you picked it up and you knew it was on there all you had to do was hand it back and ask them to take it off! if you dont look at the shit you pick up then thats YOUR problem! get your wife the help she need's and stop shifting it to people in your local tesco! what next! oh the paper boy ripped a page of my paper now i can't read it, give me some comp money!! WANKER!

    ReplyDelete
  35. Haha, stop trying to get money for something as pathetic as that. I know loads of people that work at that tesco, and this mistake is most likely down to human error. So get over it.

  36. May I ask why you have a picture of a member of Neturei Karta at the top of your article.
It may be me but I cannot see the connection.

    ReplyDelete
  37. I just happened to come across this page, why is the pic of the Neturei Karta shown? You do not want compensation really as to me you sound like a load of anti-Semites.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Why when you need to speak to a store you have to go through a premium rate number, only to be told its a bit busy at the moment and they couldnt tell me if my order had arrived, fantastic took 10 minutes hate to think what that cost me.!!

    ReplyDelete
  39. Actually they left the security tag on a bag i bought in debenhams and i got stopped for it in marks - can i get double compensation!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  40. mistakes happen. this just proves how the majority of the brittish public are greedy, money grabbing twits.

"oh, my shopping which values the grand total of £5 is one day late. even though i got free delivery, i think i should in some way be compensated!"

    compensated for what?!

    ReplyDelete
  41. i find tesco are getting very offensive ,insulting and discrimimnating they can set aside an area for polish food chilled and dry goods but they cant set aside an area for diabetics and people who cant have glutten foods also i find that tescos are very exspensive as well we now go to asda's to do our shopping because it is cheaper and better deals i will be seeking legal advice about this because i believe that there is a case for discrimination i live in southampton and the store im referring to is in millbrook

    - GROCERIES

Tesco prides itself on ‘Helping you SPEND LESS by staying down prices’

Tesco’s DATA ALLOWANCE for the PREPAY HEAVY BUNDLE has DECREASED since Tesco changed it’s (supplier?) from O2 to 3. The DATA SPEED has DECREASED. The price has REMAINED THE SAME.

I have a HUAWEI MOBILE BROADBAND WI-FI DEVICE E5220. Based on your advertising, I should be able to CONNECT UP TO 10 DEVICES AT ANY ONE TIME. I have a laptop and smartphone. Since Tesco changed it’s (supplier?) from O2 to 3 I’ve been BATTLING WITH CONNECTION ON BOTH. I’ve had PCWORLD do a health check on both – they’ve both come out with a CLEAR BILL OF HEALTH

The price of TESCO EVERYDAY VALUE APPLE JUICE DRINK has recently INCREASED from 99 c / 1.5l to €1.09 / 1.5l

IS IT ANY WONDER THAT TESCO HAS BEEN HIT BY SO MANY SCANDALS & A FALLING NUMBERS OF CUSTOMERS?
